Baptism is a sacrament recognised by almost all Christian churches and denominations, for the purpose of the cleansing of sins, and uniting the baptised person with Jesus Christ, through his death and resurrection.

Mark 16:16 Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.

This sacrament is usually performed by a priest.
