User talk:BirdsArmy

From the Simple English Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia that anyone can change

Hello, BirdsArmy, and welcome to the Simple English Wikipedia! I hope you will be happy helping here. You should begin by reading these pages: Wikipedia:Useful, Help:Contents, Wikipedia:Policies and guidelines, and how to write Simple English articles. If you want some ideas of which pages to work on, read Wikipedia:Requested articles or the list of wanted pages.

Even though it is a good idea to research an article (like looking at the discussion page) before making large changes, please be bold and try! Any changes you make that are not perfect can be fixed later. We are also working most on core articles and the most common topics until this Wikipedia grows.

If you want to ask a question or talk with other members, you can visit our version of the "village pump" at Wikipedia:Simple talk. Administrators on Wikipedia can also help you with more difficult problems. You can also ask me for help. The best way to do that is to leave a message on my talk page. You should always sign your messages on Talk pages by typing "~~~~" (four tildes) at the end of your words.

If you would like to test Wikipedia, please use the sandbox. Please do not test Wikipedia by editing its articles.

Good luck and happy editing! --Gwib -(talk)- 20:42, 14 February 2008 (UTC)

[change] WikiProject Kentucky

I notice you have created User:BirdsArmy/Pagetag. Per Wikipedia:WikiProject you will not be allowed to actually place this tag on any talk pages until/unless the project is accepted by the community and moved to the Wikipedia mainspace. If you would like to have it deleted considering it doesn't really serve a purpose, just let me or another admin know. Thanks. · Tygrrr... 20:02, 15 February 2008 (UTC)

[change] Hi!

Hey there, BirdsArmy! I have been looking at your edits and they are very good! I would just like to ask if you like creating articles? If that's the case, we are still looking for the creation of some of these articles that all Wikipedias should have. Thanks again for taking your time to read this message! I hope you enjoy your time here on the Simple English Wikipedia! Razorflame 20:50, 15 February 2008 (UTC)

[change] Edit summary

Hi there, BirdsArmy! Can I ask if you would use the edit summary so that other editors as well as myself will be able to know exactly what it is that you are changing? It doesn't have to be a very long summary; in fact, most of the edit summaries I type in are only a few words long. If you have trouble remembering to use the edit summary, you can always change the setting under my settings to make it so that it will prompt you when you enter a blank edit summary. Edit summaries are very helpful in discerning exactly what a person is changing in the edit, and in most cases, it is very helpful to know exactly what it is you are changing yourself, so that you can remember what you've already done. [change] Age

Instead of continuously updating your age, you can use the code below to automatically say how old you are. You want me to put it on your userpage for you?

{{User:Lights/Userboxes/User Wikipedian For|year= xxx |month= xxx |day= xxx }}. --Gwib -(talk)- 13:33, 17 February 2008 (UTC)

[change] Hello

I wanted to thank you for your response on my rfa. I also want to say I wan't lying. Why would I do that? I honestly thought it was 2 months. SwirlBoy39 (talk) 18:33, 17 February 2008 (UTC)

Do you have IRC? SwirlBoy39 (talk) 18:42, 17 February 2008 (UTC)
