First of all, great article! I learned a lot about Canberra just from that short piece. Also, welcome to Wikipedia, if you're new here.

I made a few modifications, mostly for simplicity. I hope you don't mind that I moved your signature to my comment so it will show up in the history. Wikipedia culture generally discourages signing articles directly, just because they're so subject to change in the future that no one really "owns" the article. However, we do want you to be recognized for your work!! The best way to do this is to create a login so that your name will show up in the history.

In trying to "simplify" the article I may have made changes that make it less Australian (since I'm from the United States); of course feel free to put back in anything that's standard simple Australian English, because I don't want to impose my cultural bias.
