The order Carnivora is a group of mammals.
Many animals of Carnivora are carnivores, but there are also a lot of omnivores, and a few of the animals eat mostly plants. Animals in Carnivora are called Carnivorans, not carnivores. The group is divided into the cats (feliformia) and the dogs (caniformia), or feline and canine.
