Constituent country

A constituent country is a country which makes up a part of a larger country, or federation. The United Kingdom is made of 4 constituent countries. They are England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.[1] The Kingdom of the Netherlands is made of 3 constituent countries. They are the Netherlands, the Netherlands Antilles and Aruba.[2]
