can a 17 year old get a depression???? as i was reading the signs and symptoms and its exactly what i ve been feeling and going through for the past week.

Yes, depression is very common among teenagers. On the other hand, if it's only been a week, it may just be moodiness or some particular stress happening to you right now. If you don't start feeling better soon you should talk to your parents, a trusted teacher, a school counselor, somebody (in authority, like a youth minister or counselor) where you attend religious services, or somebody like that. In many communities there are also phone numbers you can call to talk anonymously with someone who may be able to empathize and/or suggest places you can get help.
