Simple English Wikipedia is a smaller Wikipedia than the English Wikipedia. Because of this, we have less rules than English Wikipedia. However, there may be times where there is not a rule on Simple English Wikipedia that covers a problem, or it is not clear how to act. In these cases, you should look at English Wikipedia to see what their rule is, and go by that.
However, the Simple English Wikipedia is different from English Wikipedia, so you should take care in applying the rules. Any local rules (that is, those already on Simple English Wikipedia) take priority over ones from other wikis. Because of this, no English Wikipedia policy is a policy on Simple English Wikipedia - they are never more than guidelines.
