The Himalaya is a mountain range in Asia. They are north within Pakistan and Indian occupied Kashmir, into the Republic of India's Himachal Pradesh and Uttaranchal states, State of Nepal, and the Kingdoms of Sikkim, and Bhutan; then into South Tibet. The 14 highest mountains in the world are in the Himalayas. The main ones are the Mount Everest, K2 and Nanga Parbat. Mount Everest is the tallest mountain on Earth. Mount Everest is 8,848 meters.
