User talk:JarlaxleArtemis

From the Simple English Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia that anyone can change

Hello, JarlaxleArtemis, and welcome to the Simple English Wikipedia! I hope you will be happy helping here. You should begin by reading these pages: Wikipedia:Useful, Help:Contents, Wikipedia:Policies and guidelines, and how to write Simple English articles. If you want some ideas of which pages to work on, read Wikipedia:Requested articles or the list of wanted pages.

Even though it is a good idea to research an article (like looking at the discussion page) before making large changes, please be bold and try! Any changes you make that are not perfect can be fixed later. We are also working most on core articles and the most common topics until this Wikipedia grows.

If you want to ask a question or talk with other members, you can visit our version of the "village pump" at Wikipedia:Simple talk. Administrators on Wikipedia can also help you with more difficult problems. You can also ask me for help. The best way to do that is to leave a message on my talk page. You should always sign your messages on Talk pages by typing "~~~~" (four tildes) at the end of your words.

Good luck and happy editing!

[change] questions

Can I ask what you are doing? First of all, don't copy articles directly from English Wikipedia (Spira, Jecht). They must be simplified before being included here. Also, why are you editing other people's user pages (User:Dbenbenn, User:DWindrim)? -- Netoholic @ 03:11, 19 Feb 2005 (UTC)

If a user has not posted anything on their user page, they are free not to. Don't take it upon yourself to say the must or evens hould have something there. As for the articles, the entire point of this Wikipedia is to present articles in simplified form with simpler words. I've given some links above to help. Articles which are copied directly from en: without simplification are often deleted here, so if you want them kept, put the work into it. -- Netoholic @ 04:27, 19 Feb 2005 (UTC)

Since you've shown no interest in cleaning up your Spira & Jecht articles, they have been deleted. Do not copy material from en: Wikipedia without simplifying. You cannot expect other editors to do your work.

You also have come very close to being blocked for leaving a personal attack in our Sandbox. Don't do that again. -- Netoholic @ 15:59, 20 Feb 2005 (UTC)

...And you've been doing the same on the english Wikipedia. — 24 ( taco?) 17:07, 20 Feb 2005 (UTC)

[change] Article you created up for deletion

I wanted to let you know that an article you created or had a large part in editing--Jecht--has been requested for deletion. You can see the discussion on this page: Requests for deletion. If you like, you can join in and say why you think it should be kept. Thank you, Tygartl1 22:33, 30 January 2007 (UTC)
