Lancashire is a county in the North West of England. Its primary cities are Lancaster, Preston and has close connections with Liverpool and Manchester.

The county has developed a fierce rivalry with Yorkshire, a neighbouring county. This has grown out of rivalry in sport, such as in Cricket and comes from the War of the Roses.

The main attractions to Lancashire are Blackpool and Southport, two typical English seaside resorts, boasting two Theme Parks (Southport Pleasure Land and Blackpool Pleasure Beach) Blackpool has the second largest rollercoaster in Europe ("The Big One") and a tower modelled after the Eiffel Tower, Blackpool Tower.
