Manchester City Football Club, is an English football club.
The club plays in the FA Premiership and is owned by Thaksin Shinawatra, an ex-Thai Primeminister who has invested millions of pounds into the club. Their stadium is called the City of Manchester Stadium but is more commonly known as 'Eastlands' or 'Blue Camp'. It hosted the 2008 UEFA Cup Final between Rangers F.C. and FC Zenit St. Petersburg which Zenit won 1-0.
The clubs Head Coach is the Welsh Mark Hughes who replaced Sven-Göran Eriksson. They finished 9th place in the 2007-08 Premier League.
On the 16th of April 2008 the Youth team won the FA Youth Cup Final by beating Chelsea FC 4-2 over two legs.
