The bot program collects interwiki links for the Wikipedia of Ripuarian languages. It also distributes them to more Wikipedias, also to the Simple English Wikipedia. Links on this page show the other language editons where the bot is active.

Bots are making repetitive and systematic edits in an automated or semi-automated fashion which would be rather tedious to do manually. It is not a sock puppet.
