Please read the Criteria for Administratorship before nominating another user or yourself for Adminship to make sure the nominated user meets the criteria for becoming an Administrator. You may want to look at the archives first so you can see why other people's requests have failed or succeeded.
Administrator tools are there to better help the community. They are not a power. They also do not make certain users better than others. Jimbo Wales, the founder of the Wikimedia Foundation, said that adminship "should be no big deal".
To nominate the candidate you want to for adminship, please follow the following instructions:
- In the input box below, replace USERNAME with the username of the person you are nominating for adminship.
- Complete the fields given to you.
- Add {{/<insert name of person nominated>}} underneath the Current requests heading below, at the very top of the list.
- Optional: Add {{rfa-notice}} to the candidate's userpage.
Note: This is not the place to get "constructive feedback from others", if you want feedback from others in a less serious environment, please see Editor Review.
