RyanCross (talk • changes • count • logs • page moves • block log • email) Hello, I'm RyanCross on the Simple English Wikipedia. By the way, this isn't me. Here on Simple WikipediaI have a few main areas here to which I contribute to on Wikipedia. I write mostly baseball-related articles, so I may contribute to the WikiProject Baseball and more particularly the Boston Red Sox and New York Yankees articles; that is probably where I'm most active. You can visit this link to see all the pages I have created, contributed significatly to, or promoted to WP:GA or WP:VGA. I new page patrol, seeing if new articles should be kept here or quickly deleted. I also recent changes patrol and revert vandalism, and try to make the appropriate actions there which I am quite experienced at. I report users who need to be blocked at WP:VIP for repeated vandalism after their last/only warning, if they have an inappropriate user name, and spammers. I do copy-edit and wikify on pretty much any article as well. I usually vote and/or comment on requests for deletion, deciding if an article should be kept or deleted so that it may meet a concensus. For more information about me and what I do around Wikipedia, visit this page. I am active pretty much everyday on Wikipedia, mostly on weekdays unless I'm on a wikibreak. I am a person who does not get frustrated and always'has a cool head. I am only human so if I make a mistake in my editing, which I try my best not to, please let me know. I would like to become a Simple English Wikipedia Administrator in the future. It would be a great opportunity to better help the community deleting not needed pages, protecting pages that have had many disruptive edits to it, blocking users who have vandalized a certain amount of time or if they have an inappropraite username, etc. I'm not too eager to become an administrator, so I would most likely not nominate myself for adminship, but rather at least one experienced editor asks to nominate me. I would feel more confident in passing an WP:RfA when I have much experience here, when I have good knowledge of the policies, when I meet the criteria for adminship, and overall, when I feel I am trustworthy enough to take the tools. |
