Satanism
From the Simple English Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia that anyone can change
Satanism is a wide term for many religious and/or philosophical movements.
The word is often used by people who are not Satanists or who do not like Satanists who think that Satanism means worshipping an evil supernatural being called "Satan" and who want him to win in a war against good represented by "God", but most Satanists do not agree with this description, and for them Satan is only a symbol for certain values based on the individual.
There are several modern Satanic organisations of different types, but the most well-known is the Church of Satan created in 1966 by Dr. Anton Szandor LaVey who also wrote The Satanic Bible.
