Ryōtei

A Ryōtei (料亭?) is a type of Japanese very expensive and elegant restaurant. Traditionally they only accept new customers who are recommended by known and trusted clients. They usually include entertainment by geisha, but not always in modern times. Ryōtei are usually a place where very important business or political meetings can take place in private.
